today's been pretty productive... did a lot of things... spent a good deal of money on old newspapers, though... dang... other stupid bitch who married a foreigner... stole all newspapers... had to buy back issues worth almost twice the amount of regular papers.

funny thing happened today... picked up doogie so I had someone to chat with while doing my press rounds (for those who don't know, it's mighty boring and sad if you do press rounds alone)... while i was waiting for him to come down, a kitten must've slipped into my front fender (what we commonly call a bumper). While we were driving, we heard a "mew", as if it was inside the car... I REALLY THOUGHT a kitten got inside the car.

I was worried, of course, that the kitten would jump into the engine, kill itself, and drag my engine up to heaven with it... good thing it didn't... i was worried because i, for one, am sort of an animal rights advocate... well, more of a life advocate. I actually moved heavy lockers back in college to rescue kittens hidden underneath it.

It was funny because as i drove through some small streets, the kitten would mew and people would hear it and look at the car weird...

Got to HQ. Left the car there and went out with Dihiya and HSY. Thought the kitten left because it was quiet all that time. After hours of going around, we heard the mews again. Dihiya saw it peeping from under my bumpers. When we got equipment to get it out, the mewing wasn't coming from my car anymore... stupid kitten got out of my bumpers and hid inside the bumpers of the other car. HAHAHAHAHA....

oh, well... short anecdote for the night... gotta turn the modem over to my dear sister, whose sense of planning rivals mine... we're both a little scatter brained when absorbed in something we like and tend to extend deadlines a bit.
