Procrastinating to the extreme

I'm supposed to go through a whole month of newspapers (7 different titles) and generate a report by tomorrow. So far, I've gone through 5 days worth of newspapers. Instead, I've been trying to fix my blog's layout and discover html stuff.

I want to tell the whole world what's been happening, but that's not happening.... when i try to look back on the past, I draw a pretty big blank...

Except for the time i went to the gym and farted accidentally. I swear, it was REALLY REALLY embarrassing. I had a bum stomach... I was working out, when my exertion produced a not-at-all pleasant burst of wind. At first, it was okay because the next person was 10-feet away. BUT THEN.... this old man went up behind me and seemed to want to use the machine. Since I was in my rest phase, I offered the machine, stink and all. He politely declined. I was probably red with embarrassment. I finished my workout as fast as i could, hoped the place didn't stink anymore, and made my exit as quick as i could.

Hey, I'm not drawing a blank anymore :D

After the gym incident, I went home, got ready, and attended a family gathering. The 1st birthday celebration of my nephew. My mom wanted to set me up with this girl who, for lack of a better term, looked matronly and like a cartoon character. She's young and all, but she looked and dressed like a woman 10 to 15 years her senior. She seemed very boring. Someone who wouldn't really interest me.

I was avoiding her the whole night until my mom caught me. I gave my mom a disapproving stare, but she ignored that and introduced me, still. I just gave the shy hello and almost backed away. I really got pissed at my mom that night. I mean, why set me up like that? I always insist that I should see a girl's picture first before she even considers setting them up with me. I may be shallow, but looks do matter at this point. I don't see why she's pushing me to get hooked up at this point. I'd like to be un-peter-pan-ed at the time I wish to grow up, and not before.

Highlights of the evening? I got wonderful photos of me and my nephew and nieces and I got a vibrating spongebob doll. You pull his necktie and he vibrates. COOLNESS!!!

Now, I shall force myself to work.
