a new look on dating

i've written about my view on relationships and commitment... i'm not ready, nor do i think i will be ready to be in a relationship.

last night, i was set up with someone. we hit it off... we seem to have a lot in common. one great thing in common is that we both don't feel the need to be in a relationship-relationship. What we both agreed on is that we would be willing to venture into a relationship if it was a non-clingy, non-restricting relationship. No "where are you? who are you with? why don't you have time for me" relationship. Basically, it's a deep friendship with benefits. We both don't have time for a commitment.

We stayed up until the wee hours of the morning, just talking, laughing, sharing... fun talk... not like others who want to jump the bed as soon as we meet. this could be a new chapter in my life... then, again... maybe not.
