single by choice

i've been meaning to write this post for a long time now...

i've thought about being in a relationship again... but i've decided against it. when you think about it, it is fun to have someone to come home to at the end of the day... someone to be with when you go to sleep at night...

but i realized, i don't want to be tied down. especially not now. I don't need someone to be frantically looking for me when i'm still at work... i don't need to find out that someone is cheating on me... i don't need to feel sad because the love i'm giving is not being given back.

i enjoy the fun of dating... i enjoy paying for what I consume without worrying about what the other will consume... what's most fun is when someone else pays for what you've consumed.

I'm still young, life still has a lot to offer me... I think i'm going to enjoy being a bachelor for the next 5 more years...
