long-overdue?

i can't really remember much of what happened from april 7 to last sunday. memory gap, according to my friend jayson.

basically, i had meetings and meetings, and meetings... most of which were productive... then, i had a short shoot on saturday. i've been pretty busy, and overloaded with work.

last sunday, i had to rush my gym work out, rush lots of scripts, and rush packing. monday morning was a big rush... i didn't really get to sleep because i had everything to rush.

we rode a private plane that seats 8 people going to palawan... everyone was saying "wow! Palawan"... i almost thought the same way, but when we got there, it was like a trip to survivor Palawan. the roads were not paved and the heat was terrible! I guess it's because that place was closer to the equator than any other place i've been. We had to take anti-malarial pills to make sure that we didn't get malaria. that's how bad the place was.

Anyway, we had a fun time setting things up, sad to say, there were a few members of our team who did not meet expectations regarding work, but everything worked out well.

I actually bitched at one of the heads of the Presidential Security Group because he was being an asshole and causing delay and trouble when everything was set already the day before. He had no choice but to follow what i told him to do.

I wanted to give one person the "most panicked award" because she was panicking about everything. She was panicking that there wouldn't be enough food to distribute. I pulled out my clipboard, calculated everything and showed her that there was enough food, yet she was still panicking.

Later, I had to do voice over to introduce a prayer and to tell the people that lunch was ready to be served. I had to translate to tagalog because no one understood straight english.

(side bar comment) Now that I think about it... i don't even recall seeing any banks in the area.

All in all, the event turned out quite well. I got a performance bonus, gained a lot of friends, and have a new crush! Hahahahaha!!

Thursday came and went. I was too tired to do anything so I just went to a focus group discussion and ditched other appointments.
