resigning

this week was the final draw... i charmingly told the producers of the show that i will only be staying until the end of the month... i've already given them a segment producer-in-training.

i guess yesterday was the last straw. i had no video editor and had to do the video editing myself, for a paltry sum of 1,000.00 when the going rate for editors is at least 1,500.00

oh well, they've lost another asset... too bad they don't know how to take care of their people and their assets.

vanity and a much needed break

i got a much-needed break to day... i treated myself to a massage after a pretty good work out.... the massage was, indeed, relaxing...

it came with a hair spa... basically, a hair spa is where they put gunk on your hair and leave it there for about 5 minutes... then, they tell you to wash it off... that's a hair spa... i don't know what it does... but i feel like it did nothing for my hair.

anyway, i went to megamall later in the day and got a telesulit line approved... i was supposed to be #26 but i went out to buy something and got to pick up a #18 stub. I got in line early. Cool, huh?

Anyway, bought a book about philippine ghost stories... will read it when the sun is high in the sky :D

another lookalike

was watching tv yesterday and saw conan o brien... then i remembered joy saying he (conan) reminded her of me... so, there's another lookalike... among all others...

i've also had other lookalikes... but they're not famous yet... so, i guess that makes mine a common face...

i missed tai chi classes today because my computer was too slow... prolly needs to be cleaned up... too much data already...

another one to add to the list

my friend Albus told me not to forget Clay Aiken... i don't know if it's a compliment or not... his exact words were "Don't forget Clay Aiken (dunno if the spelling's right) from American Idol 2... the hairdo, the eyes, the skin complexion, the voice... Naks."

went back to the gym today... first time in 2 weeks... last I visited the gym was Feb 3, i think....

anyway, i wish i can go back to the gym regularly again... on a lighter note, i think i may visit boracay and palawan within 30 days... WOW WOW WOW! Can't wait!

of lookalikes and funny things

today, was quite fun... been quite a while since i spent time with family. we went to visit the penguins in harrisson plaza, spent the whole day bingeing and running around with the kids.

this evening, i went to my usual drug store to buy rubbers... laid them on the counter, then this girl stepped up to the counter. She immediately took one big step away from me once she saw what i was buying. I almost choked stopping myself from going "HAHAHAHAHA" As if i'd touch her. She's probably ten years older than me. She probably thinks i'm a maniac... maybe I am.

Anyway... I met up with my friend today, whom I have not seen in a long time. His parting shot with me was that how I looked reminded him of Ethan Hawke in Assault at Prison 13. This was quite a compliment... which led me to think about a list of people who friends have said I looked like...

I don't know what these people have in common... I'd rather just be me, though :)
