Filipinos and backing up

ever notice that most traffic jams could be solved it one person just had the common sense and decency to back up? have you ever been caught in a tight street, faced with another car and instead of backing up, one or the other decides to move forward and try to squeeze his/her car into a small space to make room for the other car to pass?

i'm wondering why we have never learned the art of backing up. a few simple meters would make the world a better place and traffic a whole lot lighter.

maybe it's time to start a back-up campaign. a sticker in front of my car sounds good right now... it should say "if you know what's good for you, you'd back up". HAHAHAHAHAHA
